Embroidery Techniques
3D Puff
We can create 3D raised design by embroidering over a piece of foam. This technique works best on larger shapes and structured caps, but can be done on any style.
Fill Stitch
The fill stitch is used to fill large areas with color.
Running Stitch
The running stitch, aka the walking stitch, is great for creating detail or sewing patches to garments.
Satin Stitch
The satin stitch creates flat glossy patterns and is great for text or filling in small areas of designs with a uniform pattern.
Patches and Applique
Patches are timeless. They can be applied to anything, caps, jackets, backpacks, you name it. Patches are durable, made with high quality twill, and have merrowed borders that will not fray.
Applique refers to a fabrics cut into a desired shape and sewn onto a garment. This most commonly is like chenille patches or letterman jacket patches. We often use cotton/polyester twill or felt.
Turnaround time is typically 4-6 weeks.
